We were asked to create content and collateral for their children’s range of coconut water based drinks. After developing relevant POS messaging to support the brand’s healthy and natural positioning, we produced a series of in-pack collectibles, with an online element, to build the Vita Coco Kids Club.
We developed 30 Top Trump style collectable cards, which were placed inside multipacks. Each represented a different animal found in the rainforest and featured facts about both it and the rainforest in general. Also, we invented and described an activity that kids could play, based on a trait or fact about that particular animal. Thus, demonstrating the brand’s dedication to all things natural and encouraging children to get outside, be healthy and start discovering.
To accompany the cards parents could send away for a giant ‘Animals of the Rainforest’ height chart. Each card attached to the chart in the relevant box, based on which layer of the rainforest the animal inhabits.
The animal cards also featured a unique code that could be used on a microsite hosted on the Vita Coco Kids’ website. Children could use each code to play a virtual coconut shy game for a chance to win prizes.
