Cristina is the Art Director. Comes from Romania, the land of vampires and stray dogs. Her parents are proud that she has the word ‘Director’ in her job title.
Chris is the Copywriter. English born & bred. Lives off the fame of his Great Granddad, a comedian who starred in the Royal Variety Performance, twice.
They teamed up at university in Birmingham before taking their big ideas to the big smoke, where they spent a year on placement at a number of agencies. And that intrepidly involved them taking a 4am Megabus every Monday morning from Birmingham down to London, where they enjoyed the dizzying delights of triple-bunk beds in hostels during the week, before a return coach trip back every Friday. Thankfully, like all of those Megabus journeys, they got there in the end.
They were hired by Kastner & Partners to assist with the launch of Red Bull’s new TV channel and developed two show formats into pilots. One was called Prometheans and centred on a quest to ‘steal fire’ from the world’s most active volcanoes. Think big, right?
At Leagas Delaney they brought their appetite for non-traditional ideas and wrote a 600km message over two continents using electric cars for the world’s largest chemical company.
At VCCP they spun pizzas on dj decks, celebrated a famously bad gifter called Clive and collaborated with artists to raise vital funds for the British Red Cross.
