LINKEDIN

CHATS BY THE MICROWAVE

As part of LinkedIn’s continued DE&I push, we were briefed to develop a content series that helped educate people on the importance of having more open conversations about inclusivity, so that everyone learns together.

Our idea was based on the insight that at work, the kitchen is the hub of passing conversations and where you’re probably most likely to encounter a chat on a DE&I subject that you’ll be scared to input in. We wanted to position LinkedIn as the office kitchen of the internet, where open conversations can, and are happening. Allowing people to learn and discuss inclusivity. We worked with creators Laura, Luke and Stephen to bring their own real experiences to life in our series called ‘Chats by the Microwave’.

 Documentary

Only an estimated 2 in 10 prison leavers are able to find work in the first year of their release. LinkedIn partnered with the Inside Out Clothing Project, a new rehabilitation initiative, to change this. Inside Out is the UK’s first clothing brand created and hand-produced by young ex-offenders.

Our long-form documentary follows their journey as they unlock their potential and was a chance to show young offenders in a new light and highlight that these are real people, who face many of the same challenges as everyone else.
